My ongoing attempt to understand the mind of the Liberal.
"No one is ever completely right, rarely is anyone completely wrong." - I said that. Somebody else probably said it before me, and better, but I came up with it on my own, too ;)
"When one side only of a story is heard and often repeated, the human mind becomes impressed with it insensibly" - George Washington
If I had to pick one economic indicator that defines recent economic history, I think this would have to be it.
(PS - Posting direct from this picture editor thing - pretty cool. I love technology.)

Well, glad you have fallen in love with technology! Now, how about watching home and garden television and do something about that UGLY green that you use for a background....or complement it with better colors for borders and text...
Watch the guy who does that show, "Color Splash" :)
I like the green...
Of course, I learned long ago that I am not competent to pick out my own clothes.
Maybe I'll try something new today.
Okay, what makes up this thing called "personal savings"
Is it stocks, bonds, and 401K, IRA's, or not?
Once you get an answer to that one...then lay this graph over your other graph...or find a graph that looks at personal savings by the same income groups of the graph you posted yesterday and maybe we all can have a EUREKA moment....
OK, what about this color?
(I am looking for what comprises personal savings to the Fed. Don't think I'll have a lot of luck getting raw numbers for income categories)
OMR: If I had to pick one economic indicator that defines recent economic history, I think this would have to be it. . . . . . . . . . .
Yes and no. Take a look at Consumer Debt as a Percent of GDP (hint: compare today with 1929).
P.S. Black on purple or whatever you call it ... rather unreadable.
Lies. Damn lies. And statistics.
Bush left a mess. Do you dispute that? Is your purpose to find charts that tell us things aren't as bad as they are?
Okay, this works....
Now get back to questioning your graphs...
